Lars Mortensen
Managing Director
Lars Mortensen is the founder and Managing Director of J.M. Parc and has overall responsibility for portfolio development and management.
With a background from Investment Banking and financial services, Lars has deep transactional and capital markets experience.
He is a director and shareholder of JMP Securities, the leading investment banking and securities trading firm in his home country of Papua New Guinea.
JMP is a member firm of the PNGX, the local stock exchange. Lars has an enduring interest in financial services and a strong commitment to financial inclusion.
Originally from Norway, he has strong connections in European markets and is the lead on our investments in that market.

He is an experienced PNG finance sector executive and a leading investor in J.M. Parc.
David has successfully built financial services organisations from a standing start to US$100m plus valuations and provides exceptional experience and track record to J.M. Parc’s investment evaluation and decision-making processes.
Having built businesses himself in the past, he is now passionate about J.M. Parc’s role as an incubator for emerging success stories.
David is based in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

COO & Director
Nathan Chang has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, including investment banking and securities trading.
He has a deep understanding of banking, payments and financial products and a strong passion to enhance the efficiency and availability across these sectors.
Nathan is responsible for the day-to-day operations of J.M. Parc and has a strong involvement in and influence over the investment cycle.
Born and raised in Papua New Guinea, Nathan has worked across Australia and South East Asia and has strong links to capital providers and enterprise sponsors across these markets.
